Mr. B keeps asking what I want for my b'day. He hates my answers, tells me they are not "fun." I guess I am just practical, what can I say, he should be happy I am not asking to dripping with diamonds ! So here are some of my wishes : new cutting boards to replace the stained ones I have cereal container new small pans for eggs & omelets Lunch w Mr. B Peach Tarts from Yankee Candle, my fave I'd like an umbrella too. My favorite one disappeared and the other one I have is not good for thunderstorms.  I wish there were more exciting things but I think these are pretty cool. Happy weekend everyone, hope you do something fantastic !

This past Christmas I asked for a magazine subscription from my mother. I intended to ask for Country Living, but wrote Good Housekeeping instead. Oh well, win some lose some. I received the July issue yesterday and there was an article that I found quite interesting. It listed 50 simple acts of kindness. Here's a few I loved : # 2 Make a struggling family's summer by buying them a season pass to a municipal pool. #3 Help a friend see today in a wondrous new light : Hand him or her a kaleidoscope # Shower the pediatric wing of a hospital with $1 coloring books and $2 boxes of new crayons. #6 Hang a sign on a bulletin board that says "take what you need"- with tear-off tabs for Love, Hope Faith and Courage. #31 Load extra change into the vending machine to buy the next person a coke. #34 Forgive someone. Hey everyone ! I am back no more hiatus !!! Just needed some time to step back and chill. But now I am back. As I've wandered  the Internet I came to one of my favorite sites that I used and have recommended to many, Save-on-crafts . Well, today I think I may have hit some kind of home decor jackpot.
